Fog lamps not working after bulb change

Fog lamps not working after bulb change
Need some help because I'm a little stumped here.
I recently bought some yellow 55W H10 bulbs for my fog lamps just for a little different look.
I pulled the original bulbs today, put in the new ones, turned on the fog lights to test them out and they won't come on (all the other lights work).
So, I checked the fuse, it is not blown.
Swapped the original bulbs back in and they still don't turn on.
WTF?

Yeah, that's weird. Did you check the fuse(s)? Have you checked the sockets for power with a VOM?
Isn't the fog an H11 or 9145, depending on GT or Pony?

I run Hella Optilux Extreme XY lamps in my fogs; 2500k. In dark, snowy or wet or foggy weather they're a major improvement over the stock ~3500k lamps and anything higher in Kelvin.

Couldn't tell ya...car is residing in the garage right now! I did turn them on, they actually weren't quite as yellow as I expected, but I know the yellow will be more useful if I use them as actual fog lights. Plus, like I said I wanted a little different look.
