302 1968 C8AM 6015 8 $300 GOOD?
I found an engine at a junk yard that was just dropped off to them it is a C8AM 6015-8. It was bolted up to a auto tranny c4 I believe didn't have time to look and see. Also it had a 4 bbl ford intake. I know this is a 302 block made in Mexico. It having a 4bbl intake does it mean anything. They wont let me take the intake off to see what kind of heads any other way of looking to see. Also was told it ran and is $300 for a complete engine a good price.

I'd get a late 302 roller block if I needed a block to build an engine off of. But, if it runs and the block is in good shape, $300 isn't bad just for the block. 302 blocks are getting harder and harder to find (they used to be all over the place).

I have a 87 302 I just found to put in my 67 didn't know if that 68 302 engine being a beefier block then a standard 302 if I should get it to put up also wasn't sure about it being a 4bl intake if that meant the heads were anything special

What are your end goals for the motor? A true Mexican block has a bit beefier main caps and supposedly thicker cylinder walls and deck, but really this is only important if you're thinking about trying to push >400hp out of the motor.
289/302 heads don't change with 2V/4V intakes. They all use pretty much the same crappy castings.
Honestly, if you have the roller block already, go with that. It'll be easier to make more power with a roller cam, and you'll be grateful for it down the road.

The mex blocks are a bit stronger, but not that much stronger. And ~500hp is considered max for most 302 blocks with a conservative tune. Honestly, once you're trying to get that kind of power anyway, you should be building off of something like a Dart SHP or FRPP block of some sort.

A friend of mine with a machine shop says that the Mexican blocks seem to be made of "softer" cast iron, as his experience is that the boring equipment is not nearly as challenged when boring one of these blocks as it is when boring a standarg block. Just sayin'.
