Default Horsepower For Hospice - May 3, 2014 @ Pro-Dyno

As most of you know we held our first fundraiser at Pro-Dyno last year, donating over $1,600 to Gaston Hospice. Dan would like for us to come back again this year. We are excited to again have a Hospice as our beneficiary. This Hospice is the one who provided care for Dan's dad. We are excited and expect better weather and more cars than last year. Steve and Dana have been great ambassadors for our group at Pro-Dyno. We will start reaching out to vendors for support. Please get this on your calendar and help us make this a great success.

Horsepower for Hospice
Fundraiser for Hospice and Community Care of Rock Hill

• Date – May 3, 2014 (rain date – May 10, 2014)
• Location –
Pro-Dyno
3545F Centre Circle
Fort Mill, SC 29715
www.pro-dyno.com

    Events
    • Car Show - preregister at mustangsonthemountain@yahoo.com with name and year of car.
    • 50/50 tickets
    • Raffle
    • and of course we will take donations

The car show will cover the following categories, we will plan on awarding a trophy for each class - if we focus our judging on cleanliness it will level the playing field for all participants. We will not judge on how many mods you have. We are going to charge a $10 entry fee, giving each of the entrants a raffle ticket. We will offer trophies for the following categories -

    • 10-14 Mustang
    • 05-09 Mustang
    • 94-04 Mustang
    • 79-93 Mustang
    • 64-79 Mustang
    • Ford (non-Mustang)
    • Longest drive
    • High horsepower

As with last year, Dan will have the dyno running on a first come/first serve basis, $60 for three pulls with A/F (last year’s price). Pro-Dyno will provide the food, we could use some desserts. We will need to support them with cooking/serving/clean up.

Dan’s only rule for the event is that all monies raised will be donated to the charity we designate. We can cover our costs but not profit from it. I know we can absorb all costs for the event within our group. We can keep this pretty simple as we have in the past.

We will need staffing for set up, judging, selling tickets, etc. We will also need some folding tables, chairs and tables.

The band is about to finalize our schedule thru June in the next week or two so I will let you know if I am available to help, because I would definitely like to. At least with the new day job I know I won't have to work on Saturdays anymore, so scheduling should be easier lol.

Guess this means I have a deadline for putting the car back together!!

I've put it on SC Wildhorse's page and I'll go post it on AFM as well. Count me in for some setup and I can bring a 8x10 tent. Do you have a figure for our cost for trophies (if any) or anything else we need to buy?
