Cats
08 GT 172,000 miles. Original cats. Want to replace with quality high flow cats. However, I don't want to replace any of the stock exhaust, just from the manifolds to the mid H pipe. Are there catted connection pipes for this app? I see them for the 10-13 model years.

Just get a catted X/H pipe. They're not expensive. By the time you get two high flow cats and have them spliced in you're at the cost of buying an x/h pipe and doing it yourself.
edit: Nevermind, looks like prices went up and seems to be hard to find any catted h pipes. Most exhaust shops will not remove cats from a car or they face a huge fine per Federal law . If you find one that will, just get some SLP cats and have them spliced in.

At 172K miles, the cats probably are pretty used up, so I think his thoughts are that if he's going to replace them anyway, why not go to high flow...
have no suggestions other than find some weld-in ones and have an exhaust shop do it for you.
