Less than a week after getting my car I put on a set of borla atak axlebacks. I love them, and the car sounds amazing for a v6. I get compliments everywhere... from the jiffy lube guys next to my work (haha) to the guy in the GT500 who pulled up next to me at a light.

However, I want a little bit more. LT headers and an X-pipe are off the table, I think that sounds like crap. But I'm curious what adding shorty headers to the equation would be, and if combined with the stock midpipe, if I would notice any sound difference?

I have Borla Touring A/B's on mine and it sounds deeper than any other I have have heard.
That and you get a lot of help in the Torque at the lower to mid range where the 3.7 needs the help.

I think you are under the impression it sounds like crap because you may have seen a video where it had no cats.

If you like Rasp, even with a Catted X-Pipe I guess LT's sound good.
