Default 01GT-Mods b4 Installing cam and supercharger

I have a 01 GT and I want to install a Comp Cams Stage 3 and a kenne bell Big Bore 2.1L supercharger. I was wondering what I need to mod/improve on my car so that it does not blow up. I asked a close friend who is a mechanic and he said I needed Forge Pistons, Connecting Rods and Crankshafts. Also, he said 3 in exhaust would be ok. Is there anything else that I am missing or anything else I need to do before I install the parts? Also, where can I get a good deal on the parts I need but also are still reliable.

depending on rwhp goal on what fuel system you will need. on the exhaust side, again depends on hp but most times headers and 2.5" exhaust will due. Also, transmission will need to be modded. Im sure im missing something but that the basics.

Cool I do not know exact how much HP I gain with the cam, if I had to guess I figure about 40 to 50 HP and the supercharger, I want to go all out and that should add about 260 HP and I have not done a dyno for my car so I figure my car has about 275 HP with the cold air intake on it and aftermarket exhaust, if you add in the Cam and Supercharger it totals out to be about 575 RWHP

I would recommend 36# injectors, sub frame connectors and strut tower brace with all that your planning on, your also going to have a problem getting it to stick to the ground depending on you tire set up now.

My supercharged Cobra dyno'd at 474 at the wheels and my tires spin on command :/

that's great, the supercharger comes with 8 36#injectors. for the sub frame connectors and strut tower brace, is there any brand that you would recommend. the wheels I have on are 275-40-17

36# injectors will be too small for a blown application making 575 rwhp. You'll need 60# or maybe 80#

ok lets rap things up. I need forge pistons, forge connecting rods, forge cranshaft, 2.5in exhaust, upgraded fuel system, modded transmission, sub frame connectors, strut tower brace, I would assume i need Nitto tires, 60#injectors. Am i missing anything else and is there anything else i still need?

theres going to be a lot of little things you will need. Your best bet is to take one step at a time. Start by getting your long block done and in the car.
