After buying my '04 GT wrecked and rebuilding it, and finally getting to drive it, I've found there is play in the steering wheel. About an inch either way. Figured it was the rag joint since that's a common problem and it has LTs. Well its not. The play is in the slip joint--no fixing that as far as I'm aware.

So if you have a 99-04 steering shaft lying around (even if it has a bad rag joint) let me know. Thanks.
