Default LEAKING ANTIFREEZE

So my 2012 V6 with 34,000 miles started a intermittant drip of antifreeze on warm days this spring until recently, it became a big leak. The dealer said nothing was wrong at first. They pressure tested the sytem and found no leak. I wouldn't take the car till they test drove it again. Luckily it was 90 degrees that day and they found the leak. At first they said it couldn't be a water pump at that mileage, but that is what they replaced. Anyone else with a problem like that?

Some have had early Water pump leaks on the 3.7.

Mine was made in april 2011, so it is a very early 2012. I hope they put an improved pump in. The other problems were, rattling rear sway bar end links and the HVAC woudn't turn on for 5min every time I started the car. All fixed under warranty. Now the car is 2 months past the 36 month basic warranty, but the drivetrain is 5yr 60,000mile. One annoying feature is they used the 2011 non-adjusting headrests in early models. They are positioned too forward and push against your head. I read that they put adjustments in mid year. Lucky me! Maybe I can just bend them back slightly...

I don't use my "non-adjustable" head rests all that much, but on long road trips I found them to be among the best I've used. They support my head in an upright forward position, perfect for driving, at least for me.

Wow my head rests were the only thing I hated about my car
