I read somewhere that there was a company in the Netherlands I think that converted a few 1969 Sportroofs to AWD. I do not remember the performance times but the traction was a big improvement and apparently very innovated for it's time.
Well I just knew it was in a european country. I don't know what language either. Thanks Andrew for saving these. I wish I could convert my 69 to AWD. I think it would be unique and awesome.
Here's a translated version....with a 0-62 in 6 seconds it's a slug, but that's with an old, old setup probably mostly steel and very heavy and who knows what tire size. http://hooniverse.com/2009/12/14/the...awd-and-a-427/
The ifs 4x4 looks like what most modern trucks use and its heavy is why its slow i bet.And that is one small light duty t case which would be a ticking time bomb with a 427.
Hmmmmm, not posted on here in a while but I've been busy building this..........it's my AWD 68 Mustang convertible..............now all I lack is finishing.
