try going to the main site then hotrod

www.divx.com
then at the top on a tab click DIVX
and then download one of the versions
u just need the codec so no need to pay for anything else
the codec is free of course

How does the divx code work? Does it do something to the windows media player? I can't play somethings on windows player.

I cant see any videos that are in a page like street fire or like music videos on myspace and stuff like that but if it loads onto windows media player it works. On streetfire i can hear it but not see it. i tryed to download divx twice but still on sound. it just started happening, before i could see it. Any help?

 

Did you uninstall divx and reinstall it?
Rather than just opening the codec over and over again?
