Does this chip just plug in and already has the tunes built in and you just use the knob to switch between them? Is there a display screen? How much HP would I get out of the chip? Thanks in advance.

I can give you a non formal answer until the AM rep. replys. I bought the chip from them.
1. No display screen
2. It plugs right into your current ECU and has Tunes that you choose preprogrammed into it plus the stock tune
3. HP increase is determined by the tune and the octane level you choose if I remember from Reading AM's website before I bought the chip. If you use an 87 performance tune you could expect 2-5 HP but if you use a 93 tune then expect 15-20.
4. I suggest spending the additional 20 bucks or so and buying the tune switch knob they have. It is extremely useful when it comes to switching tunes and it looks badass anyway. If you want to know anything else about it feel free to message me because I know there aren't alot of people that have this

1.) +1
2.) +1 You tell us what you want, and we write the tunes onto the chip.
3.) +1
4.) +1 its definitely worth it. But not required. We give you the dial free...the additional bezel just makes installing it a lot more professional looking. Well worth it for most people.
So this gets installed in the ECU which is in the kick panel on the passenger side? I just purchased a used one, how much will it cost to send back and get it reprogrammed with the tunes that i want? Thanks.

Yup, it does. Shoot an email over to Dan our SCT Technician and he should be able to go through pricing, options, and the process of getting it reburnt.
AM rules! Okay, now that tha;s out of the way, I'm seriously thinking about the SCT 4 Bank Chip. I have a 95 GT 5.0L. The mod's I'm running are as follows: Pypes 2.5" off-road x-pipe, Pypes Violator Series mufflers, and a BBK CAI from you guys. Will I really benefit from the chip? What are the average gains for a 5.0L with the chip? Finally, will I be able to set different tunes with different octanes?
