Default Nitrous Tuning

I recently bought an SCT tuner and a Zex nitrous kit for my 02 GT. I've got everything all hooked up, I just need to tune it and fill the bottle and I'm good to go.

However, when I called up the AM guys they said they wont do any custom tunes for a nitrous setup. So what am I to do now? I really want to make sure the nitrous is working before I take to a local place for tuning. I'd hate to pay the $150 for dyno time only to find out the nitrous isn't shooting.

Can I run the stock tune with the Nos as long as I've got cold plugs and 93 octane?

What size shot are you trying to run. We'll tune up to a 150 shot mail-order I beleive here. You can do a small shot like 50 or 75 if you are just looking to do a system functionality test before you get to the dyno tuner also.

100 to start with off with a standard tune. Probably 125 or 150 when I get it to the local dyno shop.

I called the 1-800 number before and that's where I heard you wouldn't do NOS tunes. Should I try some other method?

100 shot on a GT no problem. Its just the larger shots that we do not want to do without dyno tuning. You probably talked to one of the newbie CS Reps. Call the 1-800 number and ask to talk to Dan in the SCT department. He'll take care of you.
