Default purchasing hood scoop FAKE?

im poor as **** so i wanna order one of the prepainted hood scoops from american muscle from what i see they look legit and for the price seems ok. if you've gotton one of these leme know how it turned out

mine came from the factory and they aren't functional. They look pretty cool, but they're kind of an eye sore.. because it's pretty much a peice of plastic on my hood that dosen't really do anything other than "look cool".

Save up for a shaker hood if you want something better
