I was just wondering why you guys always discount the gt vortech units, but the v6 (05-09 kits) seems to always be left out? I know there may not be quite as many people with v6s that have the cash to spend, but the ones that do (like myself) have been spending money in other places, because it is cheaper to do a 4.6 swap.

Anyone else feel the same way?

I think it is because the Vortech for the GT is the older now discontinued V2 version which AM is clearing out. The stock for the V6 Stangs is for the newer V3 version of the Vortech which is what AM currently stocks.

That's what I was thinking until I read this:
Please Note: Vortech Supercharger System are built to order by Vortech for our customers. Because of this there can be a 5 to 7 day lead time on orders.

They both use the same head units, and I figured they would be able to discount the polished version of the v6 mode also.

I can't justify dropping 4k for a kit that may or may not work on the 2010s (I'm 90% sure it will). I would be wiling to drop somewhere below that line though, as I could recover most of the money if the kit did not work if they offered it at a discount for the 4.0s.

I may just call them later this week if I get time
