99-04 Raxiom Projectors
Ok,
I've read forums where you can install 55w HIDs and not melt the housing. Well these are post from people owning s195 mustangs. Has anyone put 55w HIDs in their 99-04 Mustang Raxioms and can post that it did or did not melt the housing.
Thanks,
Austin

Austin,
There's quite a few members running HID's in their Raxiom headlights without any melting issues. However, I've noticed most of them are using the 35w HID's, opposed to the 55w. It seems the 55w's are much more likely to cause melting.
That being said, the 99-04 Raxiom projector headlights were not designed to be used with any type of HID kit. By using an HID's in these lights, you'll be voiding the Raxiom 2 year warranty. Which would only be a problem if they melted.
Hope this info helps you out!
