Default Tuner/CAI Combo's

I'm looking to get a tuner and CAI combo and was looking a at a few options. Any input on these guys?

Option 1:
http://www.americanmuscle.com/jlt-ca...er-0509gt.html

Option 2:
http://www.americanmuscle.com/airaid...er-0509gt.html

or

http://www.americanmuscle.com/itsx-tuner-0510gt.html
and
http://www.americanmuscle.com/airaid...ai-0509gt.html

I was thinking a combo would save a few bucks but doing the math you actually pay a penny more for some reason. Is there a benefit to the combo?

Thanks for looking :-)

Hey,

Sounds like you have some really good options! Both the Airaid and JLT intakes are great quality. The fit, finish and function is all there with both of them!

I honestly don't think you can go wrong. They're two of the best intakes on the market. Both options will make within a few horsepower of each other and they look very similar.

As far as tuners go. Diablosport and SCT are also great options. I'll have to look into why the kit price is the same price as them individually. That doesn't make any sense and definitely a mistake. I'll make sure this is updated!

In the meantime, let me know if you have any questions at all or need some assistance. I'll gladly help you out!

Thanks Dan. Do you know what size screen the Diablosport T-1000 has? Features look very similar between the Diablo and Livewire.

The size is roughly 2.5" by 1.5". I'll have to pull one from inventory to get you exact measurements. but it's in that ball park! The screen really does look great.

No need to get exact measurements. I was just curious how it compared to the Livewire's 4 inch screen. Have you tried both of these by chance? The shift light option on the Trinity would be nice but the overall size for gauges on the Livewire seem better. Do you use or recommend either one?

Both devices are really nice. You really can't go wrong with any of the Diablosport or SCT devices. I've personally been running the SCT X3 and now X4 in my 2011 GT. I have absolutely no complaints and have been really happy with the set up.

However, like you said the gauge set up on the livewire is super nice!

Hope this helps. Feel free to give the Bama team a call. They play with these devices all day! Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 9AM-5:30PM EST. You can hit them up directly at 888.226.9764 and they'll get you squared away!
