Cost to clone a gt500KR

[QUOTE=05 Mustang;5790620]it can get very expensive real quick...trust me..LOL...the only things that I'm really missing, besides the KR motor/tranny and the wheels/tires, are the rear bumper cover and the 3.73's...
No doubt about it u do have a awsome car though when ur done. I do notice the guys who clone the GT500 keep there cars much longer as well as drive them. Seems to me many of the shelby owners buy it but dont drive it much then sell it a year later(shrug)which makes no sense to me.

Joe (mellowyellow06) made a KR clone. you should ask him how much it cost.
here's a pic of his car:
aside from the wheels and emblems of course (and the "custom" color which i believe is not a shelby color )

I was doing some research a few days ago and read that your hood will NOT fit on a regular GT. Where do I get the rest of the front to support it? I REALLY love the hood.

yes it can get expensive real quick from what I read....allot of you all had made some real masterpieces out of your GT's way to go...I dont understand why some dont drive their gt500's much either....me I drive mine every day I can..it is a true definition of a daily driver to me...

Me and a few others on here purchased our conversion kits thru Kevin Casey @ Clevenger Ford in California. His number is 559.784.6000. He sells a complete kit that includes everything you'll need to convert the GT or V6 front end to the GT500 (including every bolt, clip, rivot, etc..)
The Hood is a Trufiber Venom Hood.
