Default problems with aftermarket grill.

hello i am new here. just recently bought a black 2009 mustang v6. i tried to make it look cooler and decided to replace the stock grill.
i purchased one that looks like the GT grill.
Item# GRI-SP-FM05-BK

well unfortunately the daytime halo's are only 4 small white LED lights, they have never been bright enough to see in the daytime. and they stoped working less than a month after i installed it.

and the headlight lenses are made of plastic and are actually melting!

the brand is spyder. this was my first experience with them, just wanted to share my experience. and see if anybody else has had a similar experience or has any recommendations.

any suggestions on a replacement grill would be great.
i am thinking about replacing the headlights too.

Never heard of Spyder. You 100% sure you installed it correctly?

yea. nearly impossible to install it incorrectly.
both the led lights and headlights are 12v.
i'm using the right kind of bulbs, and they only go in one way.
