I called around 10 audio shops and only 1 could do a keyless entry system with remote start in a manual stick shift car priced at 550!! WTF? Why is it so expensive?

Its not illegal but no shops will take want the responisiblity if something happens. If you do want one you will have to have it done by and underground place or do it yourself. I did on on my SHO but took lots of tweaking to get it right, but if I leave it in gear it will not start, but my concept wont work on a mustang. If you do want to attempt it, make sure you have an absoulutly flawless way to make sure the car will not take off. Using the parking brake sense is not good enough.
in some states it is ilegal and if the installer is MECP certified he can lose his mecp if anything happens
one of the tech support installer from clifford kill his wife and 3 year old baby when his 300gt turn on and when inside his apartment
remote stars is for automatic vehicles
No I realize its not. But all it takes is one time. You get so use to just starting it withthought looking that your gonna need a setup to prevent that I never thought I would ever leave mine in gear, but I did once. Since I had a prox on my shifter though it never tried to start. Having a saftey switch is the only way to be safe. But unless you can convince someone to do the job on the side your gonna have to do it yourslef.
There is a alarm company that has a alarm for the manual's but i cant cant remember who it was. I think it might have Omega or Crimestopper try calling them.I will have to look in the books when i get to work but i know for sure i seen it because i was going to get one for my car.My buddy put a remote starter on his 00 gt and the car went through the house once and hit a telephone pole the next time lol
