Lightbulb Need Help Locating A Electronic Harness Part Number

I recently bought a 2005 Mustang GT Convertible and I'm planning on installing a AUX cable. I researched a few Mustang forum websites and I learned that my 05' stock head unit wasn't compatible with having a AUX cable. I however took apart my center console and figured out that I have the 2007 head unit that is capable of having a aux port. I'm pretty sure that starting in 2007 the Mustang came stock with an aux port in the center glove compartment.

My question: What is the part number for the aux port cable harness so that I could buy it and plug it into my head unit (if its even possible).

Many Thanks!

-Jon

this will work, but expensive and not the stock part you may be looking for.

If you want the actual stock replacement part # for putting in the 16pin harness, you likely won't find it. At least not easily. They're more than ridiculous in most cases, price wise, so I doubt anybody would bother since its a whopping 4 total pin connection to a standard 3.5mm stereo jack in the center console. 2 grounds for each audio circuit wired together. Shield line may also be used for factory use, but so long as you've got nothing nearby resonating RFI, you need not bother.

Think the 16pin diagram is valid for this:

Drill the 1/4in hole I think it is for the 3.5mm jack, solder connections on jack on workbench to single 16pin harness needed for the 3 connections(2 negatives wired together), run through to center console from back of head-unit toward passenger side, zip tie to keep in place, thread in hole, tighten screw, done. Plug in ipod, etc..
