speaker size?

whats the size of the speakers in the doors of a 98 mustang gt with the mach 460 sound system? my speakers have finally went and i need replacements. also how hard is it to change them and how do you do it?

5x7/6x8 (same thing) you'll need to find speakers that are 8ohm so the factory amps will work with them

well i just ordered these as some replacement door speakers. why do they have to be 8 ohm?

also one other ? are the rear 5.7's the same size as the fronts? im asking cause i know someone who has rear 5.7's that i can get and i was wondering if i could replace my blown front speakers with them.

they are the same unless they are too deep to fit in the doors.....

i just put all four of my pioneer speakers , there 6 by 8 in its easy to change, remove the door panels and its like 4 screws just get 6 by 8 inside

so you used regular 4ohm pioneers? Does it sound good? from what i understood you can only use 8ohm speakers. did you have to do anything special during the install?
