Default IDMAX subs?

I'm not looking for opinions here, I'm looking for real life experience with this speaker...

I've heard a few ID subs and have been pretty impressed with their ability as a good all around sub. I've often considered running a single IDMAX 12 behind my ZPA 0.5.

Any experiences with them, good or bad?

I also have heard a lot of ID subs, but never the IDMax. Every review from a respectalbe source said they were great woofers.

Sorry I haven't heard one.

Your research sounds a bunch like mine.

"Awesome sub!"
"Where can I hear one?"
"..."

Thanks!

I'd go to caraudio.com and check for a review over there. Check out someone's equipment in their sig, and generally you can tell if they know what they are talking about.

It looks like I might go lookins at audio shops in the next couple weeks to brush up on my opinions.

I just need to get out and meet the local area. I've only been here about 6 months and the only ID dealer in my old town was a horrible place to do business (charged me $30 for a 30A bosch relay when I was a kid and didn't know any better... Also the only PG dealer so I made sure not to buy my ZPA and my ZX350 from him 6 years later).

I have heard it other installs. They are good but I would highly recommend that you do not put a class d amp on it. If you out like 250-500 watts it should be okay.

A real life experience would create an opinion. Therfore I have been requested to not give my opinion from what I have experienced with an IDMAX.
