Can you be a little more descriptive?

What is your price range?

SPL or SQ?

How much room for a box do you have?

Answer those questions and we will move on.

with a big enough hammer and some duct tape...

you can fit 15's but it is hard, you might have to build the box in the car.......

I'm a big fan of RE XXX subs. There top end 15" takes some driving though gonna want to be pushing 2000W+ RMS to each of them.

However they sound brilliant and they will play loud. Just depends on the setup and box you put them in. Lot of people use them over here in both SQ and SPL setups because they're one of the best subs you can buy. The only problem is they do not come cheap. Around $1000 each.

But whats wrong with 12's? 15's will give you slower response thus you will loose some of the punch but setup properly they should in theory drop lower. But a decent setup 12 will drop low enough anyway. Its all in the setup. Get this wrong and no matter what sub you have it will sound crap.

IF you really want a high quality woofer, you should look into funky pups..... Google them and they will blow your mind. They go boom like so.

Why are you a big fan of RE.

I sincerely hope you are talking about the RE before they were bought out.

RE before USAmps >>>>>>>>>>>>&g t;RE After

My poor old RE 8's used to only cost $50 a pop and were some of the best drivers out there for the money. Now they run over $100 after the takeover!

The new RE is Fi.
