Default Anyone have specs for building sub box for 07 Mustang

Just looking to build a box for my 2 kicker cvr 10's. Anyone have the specs for the 07 mustang trunk space. My car has a wierd upward angle on the floor board in the trunk near the rear seats. How would I build a box to sit flat with that angle their?

We really do not get alot of people building boxes on here, and not any that really design them either. To find that angle I would use an angle finder that is available at most home depot's. It is just two flat pieces that are mounted to each other on the ends. You put it in the space that you want to find the angle for, tighten down the screw that holds the two pieces together and it has a scale on the side that you can read(like a protractor in degrees) to find the number of degrees in that angle.

I would be happy to help you design a box by giving you the equations you would need to solve. I am more of the type of person toteach ya how to fish rather then just give ya a fish[:-]....

Ok maybe you can help. I want a dual 10' sub box, sealed. I would like it to look just like the boxes anarchy customs builds. My subs are kicker cvr's. they each need .8cuft min-3cuftmax. I would use 3/4 mdf board. The specs from kicker for a single box are 13.5x13.5in (front and rear), 13.5x10.125 (top and bottom sides), 12x10.125 (left and right sides). This is for my 07 Gt. So the box has to fit on that weird upward angle. I'm not sure of how tall it can be in the trunk. But I don't want it very big since it has to fit past the tail lights to fit in my trunk.

You can turn it sideways when putting it in...

I think Anarchy is just some dude. Looks like decent work though.

If this is the one your talking about, it's not just MDF he made that from I hope you know, and if you have never built a subwoofer enclosure let alone worked with fiberglass, don't expect it to turn out like this.

Ya that is one of his boxes. I know he built his with fiberglass. I don't want to do that. It's nice but I just want to build a basic mdf box, and carpet it. Do you have the dimensions on that box? Like H,W,L?

No, I just did a search and could only findpictures from himon myspace.com

And the box isn't that big, its not much bigger than that actual part that is fiberglass, the carpeted face is just a board thats there to create the false wall look, you could easily find the dimensions of the carpeted part by opening your trunklid equipped with a piece of paper, pen and tape measure. How do you think he got the dimensions?
