Default Is there any direct iPod integration to the stock head-unit on an 00' w/ 460?

I have a 2000 with the stock head-unit and the 460 system. I'm wondering if there is any way to integrate an iPod connection into the stock head unit without using one of those cassette hook-ups or a $200 box i found that worked. Anything a little cheaper than that, also I would have absolutely no issue replacing the CD player with an iPod hook-up. If I could use my iPod i will never touch the CD player again anyways so that would be even better if anyone had any ideas. Thanks.

only other way i can think of is to use the RF modulator. Its not going to be crystal clear though, it will have the same SQ as your radio. But you can get em preyty cheap at walmart, best buy, online. It may be labeled as Radio transmitter, or something stupi, but it is an RF modulator. It will work if you dont want to break the bank on a new head unit.

Ipod stuff tends to be pretty expensive so it might actually be worth it to spend a little extra and upgrade to a nice budget headunit. I only paid a little over 100 bucks for my Pioneer Premier new and it's an awesome player with inputs in the back that I can hook my Sansa up to. If you don't mind used stuff you could get a great unit for probably under $100 on Ebay or Craiglist.

I would just upgrade the head unit with one of those that you just plug in your ipod and control it using the controls on the head unit. Only like $200 bucks or so.
