I need to know which amp is good for my 2 alpine type R subs

i got two alpine Type R subs with 4 ohm dual voice coil. model SWR-1242D. i was wondering what amps would go best.. im short some money so maybe 300 for amp is best i could do.

you either need to find a high current capable amp that can handle a 1 ohm load or you will need to find an amp that gives as much power as possible at 4 ohms

My friend has the same setup and hes curretly using JL 500/1 amp. It sounds pretty good

i would try sundown audio 1000d or saz 1500d or a hifonics 1608d sundown would be the better choice as it has proven itself and is pretty popular on ca.com the hifonics is a tad overrated and you would see about 1300rms.
