If I cant get it in through the trunk I could probably drop the seats and slide it in from there easier? it doesn't seem like it would be that bad to get a box in there other than height. I attempted to see if a bandpass box wit 2 12s would fit but I got it in through the trunk opening but it was way too tall, about 18 in.

you didn't read my post directly above yours did you? Go measure the height from the bottom of the deck to the rear seat and see what how much you gain. I won't repeat myself again.

ya I read your post and the lowest point was 15 inches. I was planning on putting the sub under there not all the way to the back of the trunk. I know if I need to thought its taller. If I had to put the box further back it would be lower about 10-ll inches.

A large box will have to be carefully planned to get it in, and no you do not gain anything going through the back seat........
really? must have not been been made easy to put it lol
i have 1ft^3@33hz after port and sub displacement, and it slid right in

you need to try to have the port and the sub on the same side. better tunning better bass. i've done several boxes for mustangs even some single 15 boxes.

how hard was it to make the 15 box and what cube was it? I'm thinkin of maybe goin with the 15 in fi ssd or if I can wait and save up enough money a 12 in audioque but their sound quality isn't as good from what I've heard. I just don't want to go to the point of having to build the box in the car. I've done that once and it was a pain and couldn't get it to seal right.

I have built boxes for hatches with the woofer firing up, but never for a regular trunk. I also have never put the port on a different side from the woofer.

it was no harder to make the box for the 15 than it is for a 12. it was a 3 cube box. and it does take up most of the trunk area.

ok well I might just make it sealed to start and move it around to see what sounds best then port it. depending on how it sounds I might just leave it sealed.
but do you guys think it would be worth it to wait and save up for the audioque hdc3? I've heard they have great spl but suffer with sound quality. I want something that sounds good and is still decently loud
