Ok guys first off thanks for the help and I have found a ton of great threads on this forum. Im picking up an 05 GT with shaker 500 on saturday and plan on fully gutting the system and have a few questions. I installed for 5 years so I know whats going just have a question without the car in front of me.

Is it possiable to gut the shaker 500 sub and somehow retain the OEM trim ring and grill from it and mount my 6.5 woofer back there. I plan on putting the tweet uptop where the oem speaker was

Also curious what subs have been installed in the oem location at the bottom of the door I see alot of talk about the pionner slim, but im 99% sure im going to put my mid there for my components
