Default Custom sub install '03 GT Vert (BEWARE 56K TONS OF PICS)

Hey guys, did a custom build for my car and thought I would post it up. I used two Digital Designs 1508 DVC 4 subwoofers and built an enclosure to sit in the footwells and come up over the rear seat support rail.

I did this type of enclosure because of two things; I wanted to keep my trunk for all the little space that is there and I was planning on doing a rear seat delete anyway so I figured I would have all that space in the back seat to build something.

I didn't want to have something that screams "look at me I'm in the back seat!" so I thought that by putting it in the footwells and having the rear seat delete cover it nobody will really notice it until the doors are opened or somebody is really trying to look.

The enclosure is half MDF, half fiberglass, and I did the finish on it as well (which is the last time! CAN'T STAND FINISHING! Well, if it is reflective, glossy......)

On to the pics.....

No there will be a rear seat delete over the top of it....Just haven't had the chance to build it yet....

The 1508's are 8". I should have mentioned that the enclosure is built to DD specs in 1.75 cubes with a 28 sq in port about 21" long.....(if I am remembering correctly...)
