Smile 6x8s o r 6-1/2s? MB Quarts or Kickers?

Okay so I've been searching and posting and learning off of some car audio forums but now I would like to hear back from some people who know their mustangs

SO. What I want is to be able to crank my music loud and have it not be full of static like my stock speakers... I usually listen to country loud but sometimes listen to Hip hop and rap and like some bass.

Right now I have the stock 5x7s in??
They read:
FORD
F4ZF-18971-CA
130 Premium
USA 9615A
P

I also have a Pioneer DEH 535 Head unit in that came with the car. 40Wx4

So I assume they are not the MACH sound system..

I have been recommended several different speakers and even a new head unit to be able to better power my speakers.

Recommended 6.5s:
MB Quart FKA116 6.5" Coaxial 2-Way Car Speakers
KICKER DS650 6.5" 2WAY COAXIAL SPEAKERS

Recommended 6x8s:
KICKER DS680 6"x8" DS-Series speakers

Recommended Head Unit: (i REALLY want one that just has the aux plug)
PIONEER DEH-11E In-Dash AM/FM CD Receiver

So guys. I appreciate your help. I want my stang to sound good
Also, with these adapters will the 6.5s even fit?

THANKS GUYS!!! all help appreciated

you will not be able to tell a difference in sound between a 6.5 or a 6 x 8 so it is a toss up.

Unfortunatly I do not have an opinion to give on the brands. Quarts are made to sound good at low volume, kicker at high.........

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the stock speakers are 5x7, not 6x8. Still able to fit in the same hole, but just had to correct you.

I'd stick with the 6x8.

Wrong.. 6X8s will produce more bass than 6.5's. However if you have subwoofers or looking into them, 6.5's are a better choice for sound clarity since you would either want bass blockers on the speakers or crossovers to prevent bass from the speakers and souly the subs. Just my 3 cents!

Yeah thats what I had heard.
Well I am not too interested about getting subs... I do not have the money.
Therefore, the 6x8s might be better...?

Is it possible or probable to put 6.5's in the doors and 6x8s in the rear/trunk?
Then i could still have some bass from the back and clarity in the front? haha is that possible?

Yea Its possible. Its a good idea too to get component 6.5's in the front so the tweeters can replace the factory ones. Tweeters are for highs and the 6.5 speaker part (also called subwoofers sometimes) are for mids and lows. If your aiming for clarity 6.5 components all the way around is your best bet. Not saying you wont get good bass, just choose a brand that has 6.5 components with a high rms for the best bass and read reviews about them.

Just a high RMS doesnt mean loud bass though... look for a frequency range with the biggest span. The lower the lowest number, the deeper the bass. Dito for the higher number, the higher the number the louder the vocals are. Along with a high decible

You dont NEED an amp. If you have a head unit the speakers will sound a lot better than the factory headunit. However an amp would push even more juice to the speakers... But if your not even going to get a sub, a 4 channel or "speaker" amp isnt nec. for your speakers.
