Default Another Mach 460 and Aftermarket HU Question

I have read many of the topics posted on here about integrating an aftermarket headunit into the mach 460 system. My car is a 2000 and I bought a JVC headunit. It only has one set of pre-amp outputs. I go to Best Buy and they sold me the 70-5519 harness.
Will this harness work in my car? I read that the radio will supply too much juice to the factory amps and I don't want to fry anything.
Here is the JVC HU I bought... http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1218057761867

Here is the harness Best Buy sold me... http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1134701341913

Best Buy's information is conflicting with Crutchfiled's info. and I don't know where to go from here. I just need to get this headunit installed quickly. Thanks for any help!!!

didn't know they had a mach system in an 87 mustang, that harness they sold you is for a much newer model mustang....

aw shoot sorry I missed that detail. That is a transition year so it is hard to know what harness you need until you pull the radio out and look.

I picked up Metra part #70-5510. I also had to get two RCA "Y" connectors since my new headunit only has one set of RCAs.

My new problem is that when I turn the key on I get a squeaky pop through the speakers. I read the info. at the top of the forum and I am going to get the part from Radio Shack tomorrow. I got the part number from this link... http://www.mustangforums.com/forum/a...onstopred.html

It's the one pictured at the top correct?
