I was installing my subs today..and after the long process of taking the shaker out..came to find out that they dont have a RCA port in the back for an amp. Where can I buy a convertor? Any experiences with this? Any alternatives? Any help would be appreciated.

they have a JL connector for 17 + ship. locally, you will probably find them for around $20

So thats all I need then? Where does the convertor plug into in the back of the shaker? I dont really remember a place..but I was really tired so idk.
The converter will take speaker wire as inputs and will have RCA ports as outputs. Typically you would tap into the speaker wire feeding your rear speakers for the input. You can either splice it in so that the rear speakers AND the converter are both connected, or just connect the converter and disconnect the rear speakers. You'll probably want the former approach.
I see you have an 05+. It will be interesting to see how this LOC converter works out for you on the shaker system. I ended up going the same route, but ended up with very low signal level to my amp/subs. I got two different brand converters with basically the same results. The output voltage was less than 1 volt. I ended up having to crack open the case of one of them and swap out a couple resisters to essentially lower the voltage conversion ratio. That seemed to do the trick, although I have yet to go back and measure the new voltage. For some reason it seemed like the speaker level inputs were running on 5-6V versus 12V. The converter was a 10:1 step-down, which was too much.
Anyway, hopefully the converter will do the trick. Sorry for the tech rant; I'm just wondering if others have experienced the same weirdness. Hopefully you won't!
I work for PAC, not that im pushing the product, but we have aplug and play LOC that will give a f/r output, the AOEM-FRD24 or the SNI-45t is a universal LOC with amp trigger.
