Default 2006 GT Sub woofer replacement for the trunk?

Hey All!

My 2006 GT came with the Shaker 1000. Cool but the sub woofer in the trunk is huge. So it got removed and placed away into storage. I just got a catalog from Shelby that shows a much smaller version with the same capacity and supposedly a straight plug in. So...here are my questions: Does anybody make anything similar that you might be aware of? And if someone does are they any cheaper than the $650.00 that Shelby wants?

I am somewhat of a old guy but still appreciate rocking out to The Doobies, Boston, Nazareth and few others and miss the nice little extra "bump."

Thanks!

Your pretty much stuck with that price. Getting a custom fit subwoofer+box is not going to ever be cheap. Your best off just leaving the stock box in your trunk, but thats your call

Have you thought about adding aftermarket but making it removable?

Do you have any fiberglass skills?

Bassforms has some 10" corner eclsoures or Scoshe/FR has a 12" enclosure that should be cheaper the the 650.00 Shelby wants.
