Default DS Door speaker in and out...

I drive an 09 GT and pretty much since i bought the car the drivers side door speaker hasnt been working 100% of the time. i know its not blown bc it doesnt rattle or anything of the sort. it just stops working. i used to be able to fade the speakers to just that one and spike the volume for a split second and it would fire up again. but tonight its happened and nothing i did would turn it back on? so my question is, has anyone else had this problem? or what could it be? also i noticed that normally if the volume is loud, it happens a lot less often, but when its lower its more frequent.

it sounds like the speaker is blown or the has a broken coil that occasionally made contact. i would just replace them anyway
