I hope that kit works better than the Metra 99-7864 kit did when I had my 2007 Honda Accord. That was the first time I actually put the stock radio back into the vehicle because the kit wouldn't control my AC properly.

I like the kit. If you go to youtube, all you see is videos of camaros with DD headunits and no videos for a mustang. And the Camaros have a metra kit installed in the dash. Both kit look good, just that the camaro owners know what they want, and the mustang owners are scared of losing the SYNC. But PAC makes a harness that you can keep the sync function, if your headunit has an auxillary input.

Did you try replacing it with another kit or did you just give up. Some companies make mistakes, and it was just a bad kit that you got a hold of.

It's the buttons that kill it for me. Very generic/cheaply made looking.

When you adjust the temperature and fan speed on that metra kit, does it display the current level any where?
Or do you just hit up till it feels warm (or down till it feels cool enough) and just hit up on the fan till its blowing fast enough and down to slow it down?
With the factory ***** at least you can see where its current level is on the scale that the button has printed on it.
Is there anything that does this on the metra kit?
Does anyone know if the metra kit is planning any kind of display that will show the current levels of these functions?
