Cool Aux Line In 05 GT

So I have a 05 Mustang GT with the Shaker 1000 sound system it has a 5 disc cd changer i love the sound of my system but don't deal with CDs...i need an AUX in to hook up my mp3 player(psp for now). What is my best option for digital music imput? Should I get new deck or install some kind of aux line in?

I happen to like the Shaker500 system. One of these days I am going to order one of these for mine too.

This has to be the simplest of these devices on the market. I tried some iSimple gateway thing from Best Buy and after a day my dash freaked out and the car wouldn't start. Removing the audio interface fixed the prob.

Did Best Buy tell you that part worked on your 05'? Its not compatible with your vehicle and thats why it had a communication problem with the CAN system.

Im a tech/r&d for AAMP of America(PAC,iSimple,Stinger,Phoenix Gold etc.)

I have an 06, it's the OP who has an 05. I thought it was compatible any Shaker 500. I guess that's not the case. What's weird is it kinda worked then went haywire.

The best audio input interface for mustang i have use in many mostangs from 2005 to 2009 is the PIE FRDO4-AUX , radio must have a AUX button not a SAT button,

http://www.oemautosound.com/pc-192-8...ux-button.aspx

if there is a AUX and SAT button use the pie frd03-aux/s

I simply could not get the PIE AUX to work in my 05. The radio did not even recognize that it was there. I threw it in the trash and bought a double din touchscreen.

mustangs made in early 2004 and sold as 2005 don't have the software inside the radio for the aux. and it is a can-buss radio
