my cd player is locked up or somethin. all six cd lights come on as if it were full but it has no cd in. keep reading cd error. wont load eject or play. can anyone tell me somethin
man i was hopin to find some special neat trick. i love my car and i love music in my car......gotta have it. could u maybe recommend th system right for my car. ty for ur imput
If you press the eject button, then press and hold the eject button, the unit will automatically unload all disks one by one. Have you tried that? If that still doesn't work, you might try disconnecting the battery for 20 minutes. That should let any power drain out completely. When that happens the Shaker will do an inventory of all disks since you made it forget. HTH.
yep i learned the ejecting thing thats how i know not a cingle cd was left in. thats th moment it locked up. and for th battery i have already had to get a new one. that took a bit longer than twenty min. but ty anyways
is there a way to fix~clean etc. th heads like ya know ole school cd players
There are no heads on a CD player. I think you're thinking of cassette players... It seems the problem is the loading mechanism. If you or someone you know is a handy person you/they could probably get it out and get it apart to temp fix it. But if you go through all the trouble getting it out, you may as well just replace it.
ok obviously no need to replace with another shaker.. if replaced with somethin diff. better etc.. will that depresiate my car. also would it put my car at or in any kind of risks

Yeah thats what I meant. Not to replace with another shaker. But in your case....Unless you want to get into buying and installing amps, you just may be better off taking it to the dealer and let them offer a replacement shaker (get a price anyways). The shaker uses factory amps and no cd player you put in there is going to sound as good as the shaker without installing an external amplifier. That tends to get pricey. Although a new shaker may be just as pricey lol.
Either way, an aftermarket cd player won't hurt the value or damage anything as long as it's installed by someone competent.
