1) is there a preferred parts parts supplier for ford parts?

2) has anyone compiled a list of parts that would be needed? nav unit, bezel, heater controls...

I found www.fordparts.com to be a good place to reference parts. Looking at this website initially, you can at least see the hardware differences between the different models. But it doesn't tell you anything about the wire harness differences. Earlier in this thread, Wayne posted a link for the wiring schematics that show the wiring between the two units.

I don't fully understand the differences yet, but the wiring schematic is pretty detailed.
