Default Pioneer set i picked up

I dont have the Mach360 i have the basic set of speakers and I was given a set of two pioneer TS-164P - 100w max 4ohm 20w nom. impedance.

they feel cheap, paper, I dont know if these will be worth putting in. I have an aftermarket head unit.

put them next to the stock speakers and you will think they look pretty stout. If you do not have the mach system then these are an easy replacement that will sound better.

OK after watching a video, the mustang stock speakers are OVAL not CIRCLE......

The door speakers up front are 5x7s, too.
You can install 6"x8" speakers front and back, and plenty of aftermarket models are available that offer vastly-improved sound and a direct fit. Some Mustangs without the Mach 460 system (particularly 1996 and up models with cassette) do have amps; your options are similar to what we saw in the 1980s — purchase an adapter or bypass the amp (an easy proposition with a bypass harness.
