Default gauge cluster lights

ok i have a 86 gt and i was wondering if i can put new LED lights instead of the regular light bulbs to brighten it up. If i can, can i just get a bulb size that will fit directly into the socket or do i need to buy a conversion kit? thanks

Google around and find out what type of bulbs are in an 86 cluster. I'm not positive but I'm guessing they are the mini wedge base type.

Then go to http://www.superbrightleds.com/ and see what kind of replacement bulbs they make. I don't think there is any kind of conversion kit. It should be plug and play once you figure out the bulb type.

Hope that helps.
