Qualities of a good head unit
Besides all the bells and whistles like Sirius/XM, HD radio, iPod capability, Android stuff, etc. What are the qualities of a good head unit? I am in the market for a head unit but ALL I NEED is to listen to CD's. I don't have an iPod, no iPhone or Pandora or Android or anything like that. I put all my money into my car. I can't afford those things. All I want is a QUALITY receiver that can play CD's and the radio. So are those $119 Kenwood receivers that I see on crutchfield.com pieces of garbage? I hope they are not crap because that's about all I would like to spend. I'd spend more though. So can you guys throw out some examples of good head units? Also, can you tell me 3 things that make up a quality receiver?
p.s...I need a sub output and I am going to need at least 4 channel outputs

the only real factor that everyone looks for, is does it work(And keep working) and does it sound good/ok? After that I do not know if you need rca outputs for your amplifiers, if you want one that will change 13 billion colors or a bunch of other stuff. Cd players have come down now to the point that the $120 entry level decks by the major manf are not all that bad but they may not supply all the stuff you need such as detachable face which I always recomend getting and using.
