Cadence Sub amp pushing door subs?
Ok guys, I wanted to get some decent SQ bass out of my car that has a Clarion HU, and upgraded Kicker(shelby) door subs. I have an '11 Infiniti vert also and wanted to reproduce the decent low bass.
I purchased a 10" enclosure and Cadence amp. I am not happy with it, and maybe it's because it's a convertible. I equate it to having a home stereo system with the sub being in the room next door.... Maybe it's just that the vert has very little passage into the interior between the trunk and back seat, and the top creates a massive void. dunno.. but I dont like it and would rather get my trunk back.
So my question is this. Is it worth while to disconnect and remove the 10" sub and instead of powering the 8" door subs with the crappy Shaker 500 amp, should I re-route the amps power to the door subs??? the amp is a lower level sub only amp, but can easy push the 4ohm door subs Im sure. But is it worth it?????
