Audio/Visual Electronics Wired up? Everyone's got some sort of electrical modification... let's hear about it here.

Default So I installed my first amp/sub system.

I did my first Amp/Sub installation on my buddies 98 Expedition. Felt pretty good about myself. I had just barely watched the guy install mine and kinda just figured it all out. Took all day but I got it working. Just thought I'd share.

no pics?! Congrats! Its not as hard as people might thinnk but there is still alot that can go wrong. You have your power wire fused and the power/rca's ran down opposit sides of the truck?

Nah it was in my buddies car and i didnt take pics. I should though so I might next time I see it. and the power is on one side and the RCA is down the middle. Couldn't get up to the radio through under the dash for some reason. was too far away and couldn't find the opening lol. but thanks! It was fun. I wanna do more lol.

you mentioned the power and signal cables how they were ran but did not mention anything about a fuse. Did you fuse the power wire by the battery?

ah yes i did haha. i didnt see that part of the post you made :P it took me a while as it was my first time and all i had done beforehand was watch the guy install mine a couple months ago. but using a guide and common knowledge i got it all done and now his cars bumps hahah.
