Ok got my tire issue fixed and so on to the next issue. I tried plugging in my Sirius portable sat radio into aux plug in the center console with the audio plug coming from sat unit to aux line in. Sound only comes from the right side speakers. Changed out the male plug to the aux line that plugs into female quick connect and still no sound from left side speakers. Took the sat unit and hook up everything on wife 08 Ford Edge and it works perfect. I switched out direct audio line out thinking it was that but like stated everything works perfect on the Edge. I tried reading the manual about the audio plug in Aux line in and it says it only supports a unit with a head phone jack. Can any one chim in on this problem and advise why i am only getting sound from right side speakers when using the direct audio line . I can get the sat radio to work ok going thru the fm radio and radio works fine with all speakers working this but i want to use the aux line in because of the better sound quality and ease of operation not worrying about tuning into the radio and having to use my preset fm stations when driving long distance. The only thing i havent done is go to the local radio shop and have them test to see whether i am getting fire from the harness assembly coming out from the radio itself. I might add i have the stock Shaker 1000 radio.
