Yeah, I saw some of your posts on there a while back. Nice work on what you did! XBMC does offer a standalone os and I was thinking it would be cool but would hard, maybe even impossible, to navigate using a touchscreen.
Last I'd heard it was tying to be packaged with Ubuntu, but it was still quite limited. To get the most from it you'd still need to do it using a full OS install. Even then, although customizable, it's still geared for HTPC use. Trying to set it up for what is usually wanted in a carPC makes the others appear seamless.
What software is that? It doesn't look like Centrafuse or Road Runner
That's RideRunner using the DFX5.x skin. A bit annoying as it's now "nag" powered, as in if you don't donate it annoys the crap outta ya waiting an extra 5 seconds for the splash-screen to go away, which is why a few asked that their plugins not be packaged with it. But it's still well worth the $10 donation or whatever it is, due to the expertise involved behind it, even with it's own quirks.
