Default No rear sound on Mach 460

I have a 2000 V6 with the Mach 460 system and the front door tweeters and speakers work fine, but there is no sound coming out of the back. I'm gonna check out my fuses tomorrow and I want to check the wires on the speakers in the rear deck. I just wanted to go ahead and post this because if my fuses are good and my wires/speaker connectors are good then I won't know what I should try next. And also my friend told me the 460 system has subs in the rear deck, is this true?

Turns out there is sound coming from the speakers in the back, but NO bass at all. I checked all fuses and they were good. I couldn't figure out how to get to the speakers in the rear deck though, even with the power of google search lol. Anybody have any ideas?

Check the MENU for FRONT, REAR Balance, Fade, BASS and TREBLE settings, that could be it.

I messed around with those settings and the rear speakers are definitely working but it just doesn't sound like I'm getting enough bass. Maybe I'm expecting more out of the system than I should? Does the Mach 460 system have actual subwoofers or no?

Probably not the type of Woofer your expecting I'd guess. They are 6x8s with separate Tweeters. Sometimes I feel I need more Bass myself. So you may have to look into an aftermarket Sub. I was at one time thinking of getting a 10" Bazooka Powered Subwoofer. It would save trunk space and give me more low end for music. But I don't feel like messing with the electrical system.

Yeah well it's not quite enough bass for me lol. I'll probably add a 10" sub but I know it's all complicated with the mach system.

I know what you mean about aftermarket and the Mach System matching up. But there are now wiring kits that take care of that problem. Try Crutchfield.com. They WILL answer all your questions. Hope this helps.
