okay I have been trying to read and read about how to just replace my head unit. My cd player has been messing up so I just want to put a Sony cd player I have in the factory am/fm/tape players place and i like to get a thing to go down where the cd player itself is to hold my glasses or whatever.

I ended up buying a harness today at walmart its the FDK106

But I am so lost

do you use all the wires, the ones from the am/fm part and from the cd player or just the ones from the am/fm part or what?

both of them have grounds on them. I am trying to figure this thing out.

Any info be so great I will take pics and upload if i need to.

I have read i need another harness, or even a inline rca splitter thingie. I do not even care if the amps and speaker sin the rear work, I just want the front door speakers to work.


So, I guess the one 6 wire thing goes from the radio to the CD player, guessing I wont need that anymore. But So do all the other wires plug up? i found two more plugs back behind the dash looks like the speaker wires.

I guess the 8 wire square plugs are for the amps?

I will have to get a inline apdator however cause the radio has no pre amp outputs on it.

I am thinking i would have to unhook the ones connected behind the dash and hook these up to them, then wire directly to the radios plug like normal? there seems to be a whole bunch pf extra wires. i know it has the door speckers and the ones on too of the doors, then the tweets in the rear

and the 6x9 ( subs) in the rear.

then will this take the place of the lower CD player that will now be gone
