Default Rosen Carshow Navigation System

Haven't seen many write-ups on the Rosen system for the Mustang (CS-MUST10-US). So, I took the plunge and purchased one for my 2013 GT. I had originally fabricated a radio bezel to house a Pioneer unit above the Metra touch screen A/C controls, but didn't like the way it turned out.

I installed the Rosen system in about 4 hours. It would've taken less time, but I installed it with my aftermarket Sirius SCC1 w/ iSimple connector, and it didn't like that very much. The settings would flash and the text was not really readable. After removing the Sirius module and it's connector, the system worked fine.

Here are some picture of the install. So far I'm pretty happy with it.

I am still unsure of which direction I want to go in, but the Rosen looks like it may be it for me.

My concern was the size of the screen. I wish the screen was a little larger.

I am a novice and can solder, but I am more concerned about tearing up the console trying to open everything up.

Would you recommend a novice try and install it, or just have someone else install it?

It wasn't too difficult. The instructions are not the greatest. You just need to remember to make sure your original display screen is connected and tucked in the back with the a/c module. Other than that, it is pretty much plug & play. I did not have to cut any wires. Everything plugs into the factory harness.

Still very pleased with it.
