Reverse Sensor Wire (rear view camera install)

Reverse Sensor Wire (rear view camera install)
Purchased: Kenwood DNX890HD
Question: Where do I connect the Reverse Sensor Wire to?
Installing head unit stated above in my 99 GT (Ill post how I mounted it once I finish the install). I am going to install a CMOS-310 (Kenwood rear view camera) after I finish the double din radio bezel swap and securely mount the new head unit in the cleanest (most factory like) way possible.
Instructions say to "connect to vehicle's reverse lamp harness". After trying to figure out what the hell that is and where it is, all I came up with was people saying they ran wire to their reverse light bulb..? Sounds like madness!
Who has done this or know what a professional installation would do to install this.
Thanks for your help guys

I have done it, and I didn't run the wire directly to the bulb, but I followed the wire that powered the bulb back to the trunk, then spliced into it there. That is how the "professional" install was done on my first vehicle with a backup camera. All it needs is a 12v signal so it doesn't have to be a great connection.
Hope that helps.

I'm not sure if the wiring is all the same between the V8 and the V6 but in the 6 the reverse wire is black/pink located at the passenger side kick panel. Put volt meter to it and the your car in reverse to see if that wire goes to 12v
