Default 2010 GT Shaker System Problem

When I start my car, the dashboard monitor reads "Mustang GT" as if the radio is off, but when I push the power button nothing happens. None of the buttons on the dashboard do anything when I push them like there is some sort of internal switch that is turned off. There obviously is some sort of power going to the radio since the screen displays, so I don't believe that it's a fuse issue... Has anyone else had this problem and know how to fix it? Thanks!

-Jake

Always check the fuses. There's a lot of different systems that are involved here...and fuses are one of the easiest things to check. - A lot easier than pulling apart your dash to look for a loose connector.

Check the fuses, that is my first guess at the problem. Secondly if all the fuses are good I would check the connections at the back of the main radio box in the dash... I believe it is 6 total screws to pull it out and look, might even be able to do it with only removing 2 screws and reaching your hand back there to look. how long have you had the problem?

There obviously is some sort of power going to the radio since the screen displays,
this is not necessarily so; the radio, display, and control panel are all separate modules.
